Six goal pre-season start
ALLAN McGonigal this week looked ahead to Bo'ness United's first competitive fixture pleased at his side's impressive performances in a friendly double header.
The BUs travel to Broxburn on Wednesday, August 4, in the League Cup (ko 7.30pm), having already honed their match fitness in a 3-0 win over Petershill on Saturday and in a 3-3 draw on Tuesday against Whitehill Welfare.
McGonigal's men were set for a friendly away to Stirling Albion last night (Thursday) and visit Preston Athletic tomorrow (Saturday), kick-off 2.30pm.
He told the Journal and Gazette: "The performances (against Petershill and Whitehill) were excellent.
"We obviously made a couple of errors against Whitehill but we keep trying new players and systems.''
