Tae Kwon Do kids pick up medals

SUCCESSES were notched up by members of the Bo'ness Scotia Taekwon Do Club in their first inter-club tournament of the year at Dunblane.

Bo'ness Town Hall training sessions with instructor Iain Macdonald, a second degree black belt, paid off with medals for the following:

Eilidh Macdonald, gold, junior white to green belt patterns, gold, junior white to green belt sparring, bronze, junior white to green belt special technique.

Robbie Brechin, bronze, rainbow patterns, gold, rainbow special technique.

David Keay, bronze, rainbow patterns, silver, rainbow sparring.

Jack Foote, gold, junior green belt patterns (small), gold, junior green belt sparring (small), gold, junior green belt special technique (small).

Murray Brims, gold, junior green belt patterns, bronze, green belt sparring.

Nicola Kuzbyt, bronze, junior green belt patterns (tall), silver, green belt special technique (tall).

Craig Sinkins, bronze, junior green belt patterns (middle).

Andy Tulloch, gold, adult white to green belt sparring.

Pauline Gilmoure, bronze, adult white to green belt patterns, silver, adult white to green belt sparring.

Ian Donnelly, bronze, adult white to green belt sparring.

Julie Macdonald, bronze, adult white to green belt patterns.

Instructor Macdonald himself brought back gold in adult black belt patterns and adult black belt sparring. He said: "I'd like to thank all the students for all the hard work they have put in to reach such a high standard in such a short time and I look forward to everyone keeping it up for the rest of the year."
