Probe after man, 60, dies in Camelon house fire

The fatal fire happened in Wilson Gardens

Police are investigating after a man died in a house fire in Camelon.

It happened on Thursday evening in a property in Wilson Gardens.

Emergency services were alerted and attended the scene around 8:20pm.

A police spokesman confirmed a 60-year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

He added that his family have been made aware.

He added: “A joint investigation, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, is underway, and the cause of death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
