A unique Pinkie March took place on Saturday as the Free Colliers held their annual commemoration.

Current restrictions on social distancing meant the numbers allowed to parade through Reddingmuirhead to the Redding Pit Memorial were limited.

And the marchers could not carry out their distinctive linking of pinkies as they paraded to the wreath laying ceremony.

They also held a virtual parade on their Facebook page.
