Protest march over West Lothian job cuts

COUNCIL workers are being urged to join a protest march over 1000 proposed job cuts and service charges in West Lothian.

The posts are under threat as West Lothian Council tries to slash 45 million from its budget.

The trade unions have called on employees and local residents to travel to Glasgow on April 10 to take part in a march and rally to protest against the cuts in public spending across the country.
