Opportunities at The Helix

AN event’s being held at Falkirk Stadium on Tuesday, August 30, for social enterprises, community groups and businesses to find out about opportunities at The Helix that might be of interest.

In two sessions, from 2-4pm, or 5.30-7.30pm, you can hear abot The Helix project’s current plans and have the chance to contribute new ideas.

There’ll also be advice on how to take your ideas forward and where to get support. These could include those with an interest in forming a community group or an existing business looking for diversification.

The event’s being hosted by The Helix Trust and Re-Union Canal Boats, with the aim to encorage the growth of social enterprises, local groups and organisations by exploiting the potential business opportunities offered by The Helix site.

The Helix Trust, Falkirk for Business, Re-Union Canal Boats, Falkirk CVS, Falkirk Council and other support agencies will be on hand to answer questions and signpost you towards the next step.

Refreshments will be available and the event takes place in the Alex Parker Suite on the third floor of Falkirk Stadium.

Please email helixbusiness@falkirk.gov.uk to indicate which session you wish to attend.
