BUDDING young photographers are being invited to get their cameras out and start snapping this summer.
Annet House Museum is staging a photographic competition for pupils in schools in Linlithgow to mark the 450th anniversary of the return from France of Mary Queen of Scots to Linlithgow.
And young Amy Norris recently helped launched the event at Linlithgow Palace.
The competition will be jugded in two age levels, from five to eight years and nine to 12 years.
Photographs submitted should be of places connected with the life of Mary Queen of Scots in Scotland or England. She travelled to many places including Edinburgh, Leith, Stirling, Dunfermline, Falkland, Jedburgh, Carlisle and Sheffield. Up to four entries may be submitted per person along with an entry form which you can download from the Annet House website on www.annethousemuseum.org.uk
All entries should be handed into the relevant school.
