Fly tipping in Bo’ness town centre

POLICE have had reports in recent days of fly tipping in South Street, Bo’ness.

A couch, several televisions and other debris has been dumped.

PC Nicola McCafferty said: “This is not only an eyesore but causes an obvious health risk to the local community.

“Local shop owners have reported that their rear fire exits have been blocked as a result of the debris and this is not acceptable.

“Fly tipping is an offence in terms of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and any persons caught depositing waste in this manner will be dealt with robustly.”
