Bo’ness McLaren Trophy winner revealed
WILLIE McAllister is this year’s recipient of the McLaren Trophy, awarded by Bo’ness Community Council for outstanding services to the community.
He was chosen after a vote at Wednesday night’s meeting and will be presented with the trophy in March. Willie was nominated for all his dedicated work to the Bo’ness Fair - servicing the floats and entering a float each year for over 40 years - plus other work within the town.
He was said to be ‘thrilled to bits’ on getting the news.
