Bingo win bonus

ONE Bo'ness mum has beaten the credit crunch by scooping an amazing £177,369.90 at the bingo.

And her luck in the High Five Game didn't end there – because Gala matched the amount and shared it with everyone else playing there on the same night!

The winner – who has asked to remain anonymous – is sharing her big prize with her two friends and her daughter, all from Bo'ness, netting them nearly 45,000 each.

More than 200 bingo buddies at the Gala Bingo Hall in Falkirk took home a cheque for 794.34 each.

The amazing win took place last week, and Gala handed over the bumper cheques this Wednesday.

This week the winner spoke of her astonishment when her lucky numbers came up: ''I turned green – my friends realised I'd won before I did and we sat there, screaming, shaking and giggling! I've split the prize between us – we've all always shared our winnings and this time is no different.''

And she told the Journal and Gazette that she only went to the bingo last week as live football was on the telly at home: ''I hadn't planned on going out, but as Rangers were playing we decided to head out to Gala as we knew we wouldn't get a proper conver-sation out of our other halves.

''When I woke up the next morning I had to ask my husband if I'd dreamt it all! We've already booked a holiday – and I'll be heading back to Gala Bingo in Falkirk."

The winner has been partying every night since her prize – but says she's still been in to work on time!
