Two schoolboys have been charged in connection with an attack on a man in Falkirk.
The 14-year-olds allegedly assaulted the man, who is in his 50s, in Central Retail Park last Friday night.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the victim sustained a serious injury during the incident.
Police inquiries remain ongoing.
