Robert Goodsir, 35, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour at a premises in South View, Stenhousemuir between Jun 17 and June 18 last year.

The charges stated Goodsir sent his former partner text messages and voice messages and an image of “an abusive gesture”.

Stephen Biggam, defence solicitor, said: “There are a number of complex issues in his background.”

Sheriff Simon Collins deferred sentence on Goodsir, 8 Carmuirs Avenue, Camelon, until September 14 for a Caledonian domestic abuse programme assessment.
