If you fancy the challenge of a monster run alongside the shores of the world's most famous loch, then the Loch Ness Marathon is for you!

If you don't feel ready to tackle 26 miles, as well as the full marathon there are a 10k, a 5k and a Fun Run to take part in too.

Meningitis Research Foundation seeks participants willing to make a marathon effort and raise sponsorship to provide vital funds needed for research to eliminate the life threatening diseases of meningitis and septicaemia.

These two diseases can strike people of any age at any time. One in three people affected, either dies or survives with life limiting after effects. Please help raise much-needed funds for MRF to continue its vital research into the detection, prevention & treatment of meningitis and septicaemia.

Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so if you can help, please contact Alison at the Meningitis Research Foundation today on 0131 510 2345 or e-mail: alisonbaker@scotland-meningitis.org.uk
