Silent festival to be pure cinema gold

THIS is news worth shouting about! The Bo’ness Hippodrome will once again host Scotland’s only silent film festival, from Friday to Sunday, March 16-18.

Lighting up the screen in this, the cinema’s centenary year, will be silent era stars from Harold Lloyd to Laurel and Hardy.
